Establish Ground Truth
We start with what actually exists — not what was documented, claimed, or assumed. We read the code, inspect the infrastructure, and trace actual data flows before forming any hypothesis.
Identify Constraints
We map what cannot change: regulatory requirements, contractual dependencies, team capabilities, and commercial deadlines. Viable recommendations must operate within these boundaries.
Separate Symptoms from Causes
Most technical problems present as symptoms. Latency, instability, and cost overruns are effects. We trace backwards to identify structural root causes before proposing anything.
Quantify Risk
We answer the question no one wants to ask: what happens if nothing changes? Risk that is not quantified is not managed — it is merely deferred.
Evaluate Alternatives
